I've always had GSDs and have taken part in working trials, obedience, and Schutzhund for many years.  I also owned a St Bernard with whom I took part in Water Rescue, and flyball. In 2007 I bought home my first Leo, and my life was changed forever! 

I have been a trainer with my local dog training school for a couple of years, have attended several courses and seminars, judge and train at my ringcraft class, set up and run a carting club in the NorthWest, both boys are registered PAT dogs and I do voluntary work in the form of visits (currently working with phobic children), I am treasurer and temperament assessor for The Leonberger Club Of Great Britain, and I organise fund-raising events for Leo-welfare. I have also been looking for a water venue for the Summer months, and if that isn't enough, I have now applied to become a voluntary Pet Bereavement Counsellor with The Blue Cross............I like to keep busy!!

My boys currently take part in swimming, tracking, carting, and compete at agility. They are all on the blood donation register, trained to KC Gold Good Citizens, are registered and active PAT dogs, have been temperament assessed by LCGB, and have been used for advertising campaigns and modelling work as well as their foray in the show ring. We're currently training for Cani-X in the hope we can progress to Husky Racing……………with our goal to be the UKs first Leo sled-dog team!
